My Opinion on Weekend of Hell
The Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen and Parking Facilities
The Weekend of Hell took place at the Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen and left a very positive impression. It is especially worth noting that the event provided visitors with ample parking directly in front of the hall. This made arriving much easier and was a convenient advantage appreciated by many.
Three halls were used for meet-and-greets and merchandising.
The choice of the Turbinenhalle as the venue was excellent, as its rustic and industrial ambiance perfectly matched the horror theme and created a unique atmosphere. Three halls were opened for the event, each thoughtfully and thematically utilized. In Hall 1, visitors could meet artists and participate in meet-and-greets, providing a great opportunity to interact with the stars of the scene. Hall 2 was entirely dedicated to vendor booths, offering a wide variety of merchandise. This hall provided an extensive selection of fan items, and the diversity of booths made browsing and shopping a special experience.
Hall 3 and the Main Stage
In Hall 3 was the main stage, where a varied program took place. Here, visitors could experience interviews, panels, and various shows that enhanced the horror atmosphere even further. The program was well organized and provided a nice complement to the other activities of the event.
Cosplay by Livebe4youdie
It was especially funny that our group moved very slowly in the first few meters because of Jacky, who was walking around as the cosplayer Livebe4youdie, portraying the Pig from SAW. The attention her costume attracted led to many photo stops and a lot of interaction with other visitors.
Final Review of Weekend of Hell
All in all, the Weekend of Hell was a lot of fun. The event was well organized, the location was perfectly chosen, and there were many interesting program highlights that made for an unforgettable horror experience.
